^^

I agree. very easy to do, and very inexpensive. i put mine together very quickly, works great. I added a couple of clasps that i screwed into the wood to hold the targets up (less tape).

I made one very similar to this one here after seeing his in person: Homemade PVC target stand

I put sand only in the two open ends that have the caps on 'em. I also used 2" uprights like the post above, but they're 2 1/2' tall. I also put a screw through 12" down from one side. Doing so allows you to buy (1) 8' piece of 1" x 2" lumber and cut it in half at 4' I then drop it in the post with the screw towards the top. This means the lumber sits down in the post for only 12". The cool thing about this is the top of the lumber is at 5' 11", about the height of the average person. This means I can hang my targets and I'm shooting at an accurate approximation of center mass rather than shooting down. I can also hang a silhouette target and it would simulate the height of the average person. Nice thing is it's accurate and I'm not shooting towards the ground. I can also find the lumber at Home Depot for $.75 each. I also put a double tee or cross on the top of each post. Got a piece of scrap plywood from HD for $.51 and cut two holes 2 3/4" in diameter. This creates a shelf to set milk jugs and other objects on. I shoot in the desert so there are not stands. Have to bring your own. If you're interested let me know and I'll take some pics.
