GSG5 + 400 rounds= GREAT FUN!

So today after having the gun for a little over a week I finally took my GSG5 shooting. Put 400 rounds down at my pistol range. I shot it at 25 and 50 feet changing it up periodically. I enjoyed spraying the hell out of it and surprisingly even then it kept decent groups. I also spent time double tapping with it, and also just trying to shoot as accurately as possible. THIS THING IS SWEET! Very accurate. On the last mag round 394 decided to ftf, but after inspecting the bullet I put fixed it and shot it. Great little gun. Sure it looks like an airsoft but wow I can't believe how much fun I had with it today. I think it is now my favorite weapon of my collection even! I'll take some picks of my best groupings and post them later tonight.

Thanks! Get one quick as they stopped making them about 2 weeks ago. BTW, they get looks at the range!

Ah yeah, I have heard great things about the mp15/22. I'm considering one of them or a .22 conversion for my ar15 right now. My GSG scared me initially when I first function tested it after bringing it home when it jammed open (I bought the gun on gunbroker) I thought perhaps I had made a huge mistake, but after taking it apart, and putting back together I seemed to correct the problem. I plan on getting the screw upgrade kit once I strip out the current ones. As I wrote initially the gun worked great, and I did have a failure to feed towards the last 6 rounds but who cares its just a plinker! I'm curious as to why you had so much trouble with your gsg5.

Friend of mine just got one. We took it to the range last week and had a blast with it. His (the) only complaint was the plastic rail top that he bought was twisted and threw off the acog. He's gotta spend some bucks to get a decent alum. rail at this point.

We put a couple hundred rounds through it that evening and didn't have any issues with it at all.

Have you guys seen the youtube supressor video for the gsg5?
