thought you guys would like to hear the latest news on this subject.
springfield has agreed to take back my XD .45 gap, and will honor my request for a refund. their official position is they still cannot find a single thing wrong with the gun, and that it must be operator error. ok, fine, whatever. however, they agree that this "operator error" would continue to occur, thus they see no reason to keep sending it back to me. all in all, i would have to say springfield armory has surpassed all of my expectations in resolving the issue. i figured best case scenario, they would not offer me a refund, but would instead replace it with a new one, which at this point did not interest me at all. this experience has allowed me to keep an open mind about purchasing springfield armory products in the future. |
