Range Report

Today I utilized a small indoor range for my first outing with the XD45. I only had 100 rounds of 230 gr. Remington ammo.

It took a couple of mags for me to start to get the feel of the brand new gun.

As I rocked along I found that it shot very well. It would be an even more accurate gun, but unfortunately the pistol had me shooting it on this day.

I discovered that the trigger reset was a bit long for my taste, but I suspect that a little trigger job will take care of that.

The only other problem I saw was that I only had the 2 boxes of ammo. The XD45 is a very enjoyable pistol to shoot.

If you have been around this forum long you will see that a Canyon Creek Trigger Job is the way to go. I got one for my XD 40 Service and it is the best. He took all the play out of the trigger and it is nice smooth and short now. Highly recommend.
