Anyone have their XD .45 ACP modified by Springfield's custom shop? What kind of experience did you have? Specifically anyone have the barrel refit or replaced ith the bar-sto match barrel? Did this affect relibility of the gun at all? How does the trigger work offered by Springfield differ from the "canyon creek" trigger job I've seen mentioned on this forum?

If you are speaking directly to the .45ACP version, I don't think that it has been out long enough yet to support a round trip to Springfield's Custom Shop. And it does not appear that Bar-Sto if offering .45ACP XD barrels (yet).

My Thoughts..........
My thoughts are to leave it alone for awhile. At least
until we can find out all the faults. Please remember, we are SA's quality control team and get paid narry a dime for doing such an outstanding job. Ed |
