I sent my slide off to ajamesp51 (www.xd-hs2000.com) to have a set of meprolights installed as well as a duracoat.

I requested to have it match the frame as close as possible.
The finish is flawless. I took it out in the sun and I cant find a blemish on it. The pictures dont do it justice. It's a VERY close match. I think it actually matches better than the stock finish. It looks VERY slick. I'm going to give it a week or so before I fire any more rounds so it can cure a bit more.
For those wanting a better than stock finish without all the bling I think this is the way to go.

POI remains unchanged and I really like the meprolights. I went with orange/green.
I wanted to get the slide done to see what it was like before I got the controls done. I think I will just have them done in the same color as the slide.
I'm not sure of the duracoat color code but here are the pictures.

Yes, very nice. Although I just got mine so I won't be needing dura-coat anytime soon. But I think I would go woth that color as well.
