Sorry got tied up this weekend.Do you have an hks I just put the hi-cap spring and followers and fit 13 rounds in the 10 round body
Did cut the hect out of my finger before I got the hks out.The twelve have regular space but the thirtenth is real tight just like the standard 12 rounders. Here is a pic of the newer followers ![]() ![]() Basically the dimmples don't do anything it's all in the springs and followers

Someone here said that a .45gap 10rd can hold 12 .40rds.
Can someone confirm? If so are there any other mods needed? Thanks again

Ajames would be the one to ask but if so you would need to bend the feed lips in.Note I noticed the good followers are the same as the 9 round compact mags

I think part of the problem is too that the spring has too many coils and gets stacked up to high for the follower to allow another round. If someone made a stiffer spring with less coils then that would help.

Thanx for the input, Im gunna stick with 10rders for now. Im buying 3 more from another member. I might look into the .45GAP mag theory later on.
My local shop never has XD40 mags instock. Last time they didnt even have .357SIG mag. I told the guy at the shop that they are the same as the .40's and he tried to tell me different. I just said "Ok sure thing bud" ...If he had them in stock I could take it apart and show him. or just shove 10 in and make him look silly :P Point is, it's not too likely they have the GAP mags. heh... damn I hate this state. Most people hate guns(because they don't know enough), and even the gun dealers rarely know enough about their product. Do they not have the internet? Could they not figure **** out on their own? Or do they just take what the makers say as THE WAY? I just think it's bad when I know more about the product than the person Im buying it from. Know what I mean?
