lasermax subcompact trashed!

gentlemen, the lasermax project i was told in july 05 would be on shevle around sep05 last week i called lasermax,and talkedto a rep named don and asked straight out whats up with the delay? he said the sub-compact line was scratched! a no go because the subcompact are literally falling apart and not holding up like the 4in and 5inchers sorry for the news im just as dissapointed as you,tref

Were you referrring to the laser light itself falling apart, or the guns they were using for the testing project? I can see the former but not the latter...

I saw this post this morning and as soon as I read it I zipped an e-mail off to LaxerMax to confirm. Within half an hour I got the following e-mail:

Dear Randy,

At this time we do not have a definite release date, they are still being
tested and evaluated.

Please check periodically on our web site where we release new product

Hmmm, another reason to look at a cut-down service instead. Even if they are still working on it, it doesn't sound like they will be out anytime soon.
