XD "Officer's Model"

Just curious if anyone else has seen this done. I cut down the grip of my 4" XD to accept the Sub-Compact mags. IMO it is the best of both worlds. Full sight radius and barrel length, ability to have a full size grip with the XD Gear mag sleeves and it is MUCH more comfortable to carry concealed. Am I an innovator?

I have pics if any one is curious, but being the moron that I am, have been unable to figure out how to include a .jpg

Yep, it has been done. At least twice. So back
to the drawing boards. Ain't it nice to have
plastic to work with?

Can I post Images?

Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However,
there is no facility at present for uploading images
directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an
image stored on a publicly accessible web server,
e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif
please do a search for image storing and retrieval for
postilng images onto the forum. There are many of them.
The above is just an example. If you really want to find
one fast, locate a thread that has a pix, point to it, right
click on it, scroll down to properties, left click on that,
then read the URL. That is the location of that particular
pix. Should be no reason that you could not use the same
storage area. Just go to that URL, registar, get your pass-
word and start uploading for storage.

Once you get a pix in storage on that URL, right click it,
go down to properties, high light the complete URL that
is shown, copy it, then you can paste it into a post that you make
here on this forum. Do test posts in the test section until
you have it down pat, that is the reason for the test area.
See above each post, just slide your cursor along such as
the B, i, u. Quote, Code, List, List=, Img and URL
You just want to do the img [img]your highlighted URL
pasted here[/img]. Of course, most of us still use the
Preview section before we actually submit the post, just
to make sure we have not screwed up ourselves.

Now wasn't that simple?

You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC
(unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images
stored behind authentication mechanisms such as
Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected
sites, etc. To display the image use either the
BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).

Lets see those pix.
