TruGlo TFO reviews?

Sorry if this has been beat to death before, but here goes...

Anyone have any practical owners reviews of TruGlo TFO's that they would like to share?

Seriously considering these so I am looking to benefit from the experiance of those who have gone before me.

Any opinions on fit, finish, form, function etc would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, any issues with solvents / cleaners? I remember reading somewhere that someone had an issue with the light pipes dissolving on contact with some cleaner.

My front fiber optic rod popped out after 200 rounds. Not very cool.... TruGlo wanted me to send them the sight or the slide to put it back in. I just picked up some epoxy and glued it back in myself. They have been great ever since. If you do a search you will find many accounts of this happening.

I've had them on two different XD's and they are great. Never had any problems.

Like I said before ... How many people come on here to report good experiences compared to the people who come here to report problems?

I have them on three of my XDs, I compete twice a month, I carry daily, and I burn through about 1,000 rounds a month. I have never had any problems whatsoever with my TFOs. They are great IMO.

Yep, good news is no news. Haven't had mine long, and I don't CCW (yet), but I have about 2,000 rounds through my XD with the Tru-Glos and I have only good things to say about them. They are SO much more visible than the standard sights nad IMHO, clearer than the Trijicons I compared them to when I was considering having them fitted. In fact, I am planning on buying a compact for carry and will almost certainly have Tru-Glos fitted to it too.

If anyone is concerned about parts falling off, just put a spot of Superglue on them and the 'problem' is resolved.
