+1 (again) for Supertuck. I carry a .45 Service at 4:00. Also started with Uncle Mikes, and had the same problems you're having. I overcame them with baggy shirts, but the Supertuck is much better. Rides lower, sits flatter to you, and is MUCH more secure. Let us know how you decide

This is what I just bought. Double clips, clips can be moved to backside so it can also function as an OWB and you can pull the clips from the slots and remount making it a "tuckable" IWB. The construction looks awesome and it had a lot of good reviews on this forum.....

Check it out!

Springfield XD 3" Sub-Compact Dual Carry Tuckable IWB - eBay (item 150280990825 end time Aug-15-08 13:49:10 PDT)

Gun Leather, Concealment and Cowboy holsters, Azle, TX.

The maker's web site.
He has some cool holsters at good prices.
I may have to look into getting one.

I had a Supertuck, but I too take my gun/holster on/off several times a day.
The supertuck was comfy and a great holster, just too cumbersome to take on and off.
I sold it.
I also have a Quikclip but it sits in a drawer more than it sits on my hip.

I've got an XDM, which is taller than the service.

I conceal with no printing with a LOVES2SHOOT's Friend's special.

The holster makes a big difference. It should disappear in a good holster, as opposed to the uncle mikes.

I have ordered a product called Tuck-This! A friend of mine had one, worked well, so I will have to let you know when I get it. Shipped today. Here is the link.

I'm a pretty good sized guy (5'10 200lb) and during the summer i currently carry my xd .40 4" IWB... literally. No holster, just tucked - at around 3 o'clock position. I do this for cargo shorts, jean shorts, bluejeans, cargo pants, and kakhi's. It can be a bit uncomfortable for long car trips but i've yet to have that situation where i cant adjust my gun position.

I have a Fobus SP-11 OWB paddle i use for fall/winter/spring that wears very well as long as i have a coat/baggy sweatshirt to cover it with. I perfer this holster when i choose to open carry - at the range or on private property normally since i have my CC permit for out in public anyway.

here's a few pictures to show you how i currently carry my xd-40 for warm weather. I used a white t-shirt to display since it shows the print the easiest.

visible picture - side view
visible picture - front view
untucked shirt - side view - concealed - very little printing. Works well with a polo shirt
untucked tshirt - front view - concealed - almost no print at all. again works great with the polo shirt.
tucked in shirt - side view - concealed - much more noticeable print now. less with a polo. much less noticeable with darker colors (blues/blacks)
tucked in shirt - front view - concealed - nearly invisible - you REALLY need to look to see any printing. again very well with a polo shirt or a dark colored tshirt.

I have an Uncle Mikes #44151 on the way, but this has worked for me well since i got my CC permit at the end of may. I'll take picutres once i get the Mikes and see how it wears.

all my above notes are personal observation. I have asked many of my friends (who know i carry) at random times if they can see my gun. Most of them confuse my cell phone - which i carry on my left hand hip at 2:30-3 o'clock - for my gun and it makes me SMILE every time it happens. Out in the general public not a single person has brought it to my attention - or made a visibly noticable reaction to seeing my gun print - if any.

Just try to relax, and pretend its not there. I think you'll be very suprised who's NOT paying attention to your gun's location unless you're constantly fiddling with it to make sure its still concealed.

HTH

Our holsters work very well ,offer a fully adjustable cant..and if you decide it will not work for you...simply send it back.we offer 2 different types of attachments which are very secure but allow you to remove your holster quickly..
Thank you Larry

I carry an XD45 Service in a CrossBreed SuperTuck. It works perfectly for me (6'2" and 200 pounds). IMHO Uncle Mike's are crap. I had one and threw it away.

I've tried a few other tuckable holsters for my XD45c and out of all of them, I prefer the "tuck this" (with a few modifications). I've wore mine exclusively for a little over a year now, and haven't had any issues with "being made"/ printing.

I go about 5'11", 255 pounds. Fairly solid.

Last night I was out and about in my XXL white t-shirt, thin, linen khaki style shorts and a pair of jesus sandals that I call my "Air Qaedas".

I was comfortably packing my monster sized Glock 20 10mm the whole time. It is one of the largest fram guns that I own. In a Galco IWB holster. No printing, zero discomfort.

I swear by the slightly oversize pants, slightly oversize shirt, and a good holster.
