Best IWB holster for a fatty?
With as much love as the Supertuck gets, it is my top option right now. How it is for bigger guys (I'm 5'10", 270lbs)?
What has worked best as for the bigger guys on XDTalk? I want a combination of comfort and concealment. Thanks much, Mr00000

We are a sponsor here on xdtalk and make a very nice holster.. Our holsters move with your body you can wear a 5 inch gun all day long. The design lets the firearm ride lower to the belt line, less chance of printing. If worn at 3:3o - 4:00 you can sit ,squat, enter a car and it is comfortable,no need to adjust or grab your firearm to make it comfortable. We have some very nice Leather IWB holsters. Here is a link from a few xd members that have our product New IWB holster...Very nice. - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source! Most holsters ship the same day no waiting Thank You Larry Leather Holsters for Springfield XD, Glock, 1911, M&P, Beretta, Ruger, Sig, Taurus, Kahr,

I'm new to concealed carry, and only have one other IWB holster to compare (a cheapo c-clip style Uncle Mikes that is always coming off my belt because of the love handles), but compared to it, smartcarry is about the most concealable and secure solution I can think off.. won't come off in the theater or getting in and out of the car and printing or chances of an accidental exposure are practically non existent. Comfort is always a subjective thing.. all a matter what you are willing to endure for the sake of carrying, but so far I've had less comfort issues then with my other IWB holster oh, and one thing about smartcarry, vs many others, is the 60 day return policy.. (and the price) makes it a no-brainer to at least give it a try Last edited by robdogg : 07-21-2008 at 11:29 AM. |

I'm 5'10 240 and the suppertuck works great for me. I've had it all of 2 weeks and I love it. I can wear it comfortably anywhere from 3:00 to abt 5:00 with no problems. It just disappears under a tshirt. It just takes a few moments to tuck my shirt in right. Alot of times I wear polo's untucked, and my firearm is invisible.
