TFOs too short?
My TFOs put my XD a full 8 inches high at 25 yards. Besides just shooting lower, is there any way I can fix this? I do not see anywhere that I can order a taller TFO front...

We're the TFO's you got advertised specifically for the XD or are they for Sig by any chance?

Mine took me a few trips to get used to them. Then the front vial popped out!!!! Epoxied it back in and everything seems ok.

I actually have the same problem with my XD45c. I had the TFOs installed by Gilbert's. I love the sight picture but have to aim considerably lower. I've also had several other shooters try it out, and they experienced the same results.

Do people actually shoot a defensive carry pistol at 25 yds or 75 FT?
My next question would be why? All the defensive pistol courses I've seen advertised start at 7 yds and may go to 10 yds. |

I don't personally shoot that far. Mine is shooting 5-8" high in the 10-15 yard range.
