I got my Supertuck

I got my Supertuck in the mail on Monday, it took two weeks, much faster than I was expecting. If you're looking for an IWB holster, I would echo the sentiments of many others, this puppy is comfy.

Congrats! I've been wearing mine without gun for a couple days trying to break it in. It's comfy at 3:00 for me. I put some Brooks Proofide on it (from my leather bike saddles) to condition it.

Springfield needs to hurry up and send my slide back, my 870 doesn't fit in the Supertuck too well...

I just got mine in the mail too.

I ordered it on July 8 and got it July 16. Great turn around time. I still need to adjust the cant to get it so I dont print as much. Im a skinny guy and this thing is comfy.

Now all I have to do is wait to get my conceal permit.

That's exactly what I've been doing, at least until I get a .45c. I barely feel it all day.

I just got an XDm and I get to pick it up on Monday and I have been eyeing these guys but I would prefer to carry it on my back instead of side, I'm a small guy 5'11" 140lbs and I'm afraid it would print too much on the side plus I think it would just be more comfy for myself personally, I noticed they also make a SOB (small of back) holster but judging by their pictures the gun is upside down and I cant fathom how easy that would be to draw, would the regular supertuck be easy to put on the back instead of the side or does it have a slight contour to it to fit on your side?

Now get the blade out and trim off the excess leather.

The only contour it has is what your body gives it. It's flexible (other than where the gun goes, but it won't bend, anyway). I've heard of people wearing it anywhere from 2 o'clock to 4 o'clock.

I'm still experimenting with mine. 3 o'clock works and is invisible, but is a little uncomfortable sitting, 4 o'clock is pretty good too, but prints more (for me). I haven't even BEGUN to start changing the depth/cant for it.

It's a great holster and Crossbreed offers a 2-week money-back guarantee.

I specified I had an XD service and they trimmed it for me, I don't see anything to trim off.

There's a lot of talk about iwb holsters on XDTalk (this thread and many others). A lot of it concerns the CrossBreed SuperTuck. I ordered one for my XD9-SC on 7/14 and it arrived today, the 21st. This is the only holster I've been able to wear at 3:00 that is both comfortable and concealable.

I've tried several iwb holsters before this one and have returned them all except for a High Noon Split Decision. I like this little holster but it has no slide guard and collapses when the pistol is drawn. This is ok for sd situations but doesn't work for practice. High Noon is very clear on their website that this holster takes two hands to reholster. I like it but it is now replaced by the SuperTuck.

I've also got a Ross pocket holster that makes the XD concealable and safely covers the trigger guard. But the SC is a little large to easily remove from my pocket, so this holster has now been moved to the center console of my truck. When I go into the Post Office I'll unholster and put the pistol into the Ross. SuperTuck replaces another.

I also have a Galco owb that I carry extensively when hiking and camping. It doesn't conceal well at all so it gets used when open carry is ok. AZ is an open carry state but a guy walking down the street with a gun on his hip looks like ... but that's another thread.

The initial fit of the SuperTuck is quite good, both for me and my XD9-SC. I can't comment on the long term durability but I expect to have a long term relationship with this holster. I've been carrying concealed for about two years and have constantly fought the issues of concealment and comfort. Just maybe I've solved that problem.
