K&D Cochise/Dakota Defender vs. Crossbred SuperTuck
I have narrowed my search for a concealment holster down to one of these two: K&D Cochise/Dakota Defender or Crossbred SuperTuck. Any opinions on which to get. I am looking for a very good concealment that will work with more fitted type clothing (I don't have the $ for a new wardrobe), is very comfortable, and long lasting (I don't want to have to replace the holster anytime soon. Thanks for all the help!

Don't be surprised if you get both. You'll order the K&D then buy the Supertuck while you're waiting for your K&D
Both holsters are a bargain price wise. I suspect the K&D takes much more time and effort to mfg than the Supertuck. However the Supertuck works really well, more than the sum of its parts. I classify both brands into a very similar comfort and functionality class. Both holster mfg's set a standard for comfort and concealability. The difference is the Crossbreed is more utilitarian while the K&D is really more artistic. The Crossbreed has a bigger footprint but can easily be cut down to a "custom feel". The K&D has a smaller footprint and frankly I would never consider cutting the K&D. It's too pretty on top of it's awesome functionality. If I had to own just two brands for CCW those two are probably it. The MTAC seems nice too but I've not worn one yet. At the end of the day, this choice is like trying to choose between a Remington 870 and a Mossberg 500. The deciding factors are certainly not the price. I think you get more for your money with the K&D based on the mfg detail and time it takes to build one. Regardless, both are well worth the money or the wait. I have both and I switch between both frequently. I don't use any other holsters anymore including a nice High Noon Tailgunner - which rates third behind the K&D and Crossbreed for me.

Ordered the K&D. They actually have a new model (thunderhawk) that is basically the Cochise with the sweat guard but has slits in the wings so that it can be attached to your belt for better concealment. Should be here in November.
