Installing Crimson Trace Lasergrip

Anyone have this and have a hard time installing the pin?

Yea, it took a little while but just stick with it. Are you using the plastic handle of the tool they gave you? It works best to place the broad end perpendicular to the pen and just push as hard as you can. Some people say its really easy, but I thought it was kind of a pain; it finally got in there though so don't give up

It would NOT insert for me using their "armorer's tool." Full body pressure lean, using a clamp as a press - nothing.

I ended up cushioning it on the bench, and tapping it in using a pin punch and hammer.

A blob of plastic came out of the other end when I did... hmmm...

I have one on my XD9SC. No problems installing it. I've removed/installed it twice so far.

I used the fat non-tool end to get it started so I didn't impale myself.
