Ahhh so you're judging them on "feel"? Sorry, judge them by the numbers.
I'm not kidding I have measured this subject at least a half dozen times. I DO NOT have a 45Service or 45Tactical nor a 40SC but I have about everything else including two 45Compacts and a 45Compact Tactical and a 40Service. This was a question about the 45C vs the 9SC I have two of both, they are, in fact, the same.

cool, thanks for all the help. was leaning toward the comp-tac or crossbreed due to the leather possibly "giving" more for the multiple options.

now if I could just find a good holster for my H&K

Only problem could come in buying one for a short barrel and then trying to put a longer barreled gun into a closed end holster. If it is open for the barrel to protrude you will be OK using a longer barrel in a holster specifically designed for a sub compact barrel and having a closed end.

I'm gonna get one for my 45c, that way I know it will fit, and I can also use it for the 9sc

That is correct, our rigs are more forgiving in the area of cross-caliber compatibility due to the leather backer flexing just a bit.

We can also handle the HK line including the USP, USPc, P2000, P2000sk,
As well as the new ones, HK 45c and the HKP30

Tucker's all-leather, hybrid leather and kydex (The Answer),the new Silent Thunder (leather-lined kydex) and the Easy Reach kydex fit 9mm, .40 cal and .45 cal XDs. The dimensions that the holster "sees" are the same.
Hope that helps.
