Streamlight TLR-1 with rechargeable batteries?

Does anyone have a TLR-1 and use rechargeable 123 batteries? I can't find any (I haven't looked online) anywhere so I was wondering if they existed, and if they do, how much I'd be looking at for a set or two plus a charger? Is the performance better, comparable, or worse than regular batteries?

I just ordered my TLR-1 on the 30th and UPS says it should be here next Monday, along with a 10-pack of Rayovac 123 batteries.
