I have a dumb Supertuck question.

How do you guys put this thing on? Do you attach it to the pants first, then put your pants on?

I just got mine last night and I had one hell of a time holding my pants up (unbuttoned and unbelted) while trying to fenagle the holster in place. Then my pants would bunch up between the clips and ride down seperate from the belt.

Obviously I am doing it wrong, or at least not the best way.
I am a big guy, lotsa girth, but I don't know that that is a factor.
So how do you guys do it?

I usually have it on and attached when I put my pants on. It's easier to work with that way.

With your pants open just put the holster in the location you need it by clipping the clips on the pants. Then slide your belt through the belt loops on your pants and through the clips. In this manner the clips will be "hooked" under your belt thus holding the holster in place.

I put stuff on in the order of pants, belt, supertuck, gun. with the pants on (and unbuttoned) I put on the belt, clip the supertuck on, buckle up, and drop in my XD.

+1 Same as ParagonUSMC. You will very quickly decide what works best and is most comfortable for you. I went through the same thing, I actualy had to buy my jeans one size bigger and bingo no more problem.

I'd rather have my XD and not need it, then need it and not have it....

It's much easier to put the holster on without the gun.

I've got the Quickclip and find it easier to put the holster on before I put the pants on. Just seems a little quicker for me, but then I'm getting old!
