Which One: Supertuck or a MTAC?
I am going to be buying my IWB holster soon but am debating which to get...
i know many people push the supertucks, and some have pushed the MTAC's.... I don't want to wait a month for my holster, and I dont want to pay $85.00 for my MTAC... What's the trade-off...time or money...?

I have both a supertuck and a mtac. I like that I can just buy additional shells for the mtac for $40ish instead of a new holster, but I think the supertuck conceals better. My .02

Try Ebay...
Item number: 160254575096 Item number: 300235826178 Or get a Blade-Tech Kydex holster. Inside Waist Band :: Holsters :: Blade-Tech Industries This is what I use and carry. Very comfortable. Good luck....

The MTAC is prettier (if that matters to you) but I wouldn't cut it. The Supertuck can easily be trimmed to fit you better. I suggest wearing it a few months before deciding what to trim.

As someone already said (but only you can decide), the MTAC is a quick shipper, very well made, gives you the option of swapping out frames if you want to carry another gun, has excellent standard clips, more refined in appearance, and I think the frames provide a more precise/glove like fit vs the SuperTuck (but not a big deal in an IWB). The CB SuperTuck is a good holster though and depending on your body type, it may be a hair more comfortable for all day wear (I find the MTAC very comfortable however). I own both.
A compromise if you don't want to spend the cash on the MTAC would be the Comp-tac Spartan. Similiar in design to the SuperTuck with many of the advantages of the MTAC (including quick shipping). I wish Comp-tac hadn't named it the Spartan becuase it really is a very nice holster. Shown below and offered for the XD:

I have a little extra around the waist, so having it play well with my love handles is important.

One other thing to consider here:
We offer a two-week-try-it-free guaranty AND a LIFETME warranty.
