pro mag magazines

I ordered an xd9-sc today and the wait is driving me crazy. To pass the time I've been looking at things to trick her out. One thing being a 30 round mag. I've been told the pro mags are hit and miss in there reliability. I mainly want it for the range as I'll be depending more on the factory mags for the serious stuff. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Stick with the mags meant for your gun. How are you going to practice mag changes using a 30 round monstrosity?

No need for mag changes with a 30 rounder!

Send a message via Yahoo to propellerhead
Spend the money on ammo and range fees.

My experience with the majority of ProMag magazines is that they are generally ok for range use but far too unreliable for me to trust with daily use.

If nothing else, having one might get you extra practice in failure drills...hehehe

The price of OEM mags is crazy. I just priced a 16 rd with sleeve and a pearce grip ext for the 10 rounder. $41 bucks shipped. OUCH!

Just give it a few more weeks. OEM XD Mags are going up across the board.

Just wait til after the next election. Yet, another reason I was thinking of the 30 rounder. They will likely go from $40 to $100. Thanks for all the comments.
