What holster do you use for concealed carry?
I bought myself a Serpa LVL 2 holster for my XD9 Service, I LOVE IT. However, after having it for a while, I've come to realize and stoped denying its not the best holster for concealed carry. For days when I might open carry, its perfect. However, after last nights "almost incident" I thought to myself, had I had my gun on me with my serpa holster, the printing would have been obvious enough to these criminals that they would have picked up on it right away, as they were looking me up and down. That being said, I think I need to pick up a new holster that allows for a tighter concealed carry and less printing. I don't believe in IWB holsters, because of changing pants sizes and what not, im also getting my ass in shape so, I just dropped 20 lbs down to 230 from 250, and plan to lose another 30 by summers end, so I dont want to be spending money buying new clothing every week. Also IWB doesn't allow for the fastest draw, nomatter how much you practice OWB holster is faster. That being said, (i always give the background story on each post, im sure most of you know by now haha) I'm looking for a good OWB holster that will keep my pistol more snug to the hip than my serpa. Thanks all!

I carry the Desantis Cozy Partner for both my XDs and my EMP, I love it! It passed the trampoline test, where I tried to learn the back flip for a half hour, no movement whatsoever out of my sidearm.

I am an IWB guy and could not imagine being able to conceal an OWB well at all. Yeah there are trade offs for everything, but I think my draw with the IWB is fast enough ish....

In florida we dont have much choice in IWB carry, as it almost never cold enough to wear a jacket. I keep my 40sc in a supertuck deluxe. But if I was in winter wear, I might consider my blackhawk.

90% of the time I wear a Crossbreed Supertuck. The other 10% I wear a Blackhawk Serpa using the paddle.

I have a Supertuck on order, but to carry my new Kahr PM9, I use the Desantis Superfly pocket holster. Has a real grippy material on the outside and does not print in either dockers or cargo shorts.

I use a Comp-Tac CTAC IWB for my S&W 638. It's been very good for me.

I have a Crossbreed SuperTuck on order. Just waiting for that and a bit more practice at the range, then that's what I'll be carrying.
