Lasermax for XD9 SC
hey all-
im kinda new here. i bought 2 xd's (see sig) b4 i left for iraq and another on R&R. im coming home soon and have a little extra cash. i am trying to decide between tritium sights for my xd9 or the lasermax internal guide rod laser. does anyone have any opinions on the lasermax for the xd9??? it is my carry gun and i would like to go with the laser, but want to make sure it is really worth $350 or however much it is going for. if its not id rather just opt for the tritium sights. any info?

I have both tritium sights as well as the lasermax.
I would DEFINITELY without hesitation get the night sights first. The laser is a nice feature, it's dead on, but it's kinda pricey for what it is. You can get them cheaper than $350...look around.

Murphy's law says both. At the most critical time the Laser batteries will fail and you will have no night sight capability.

I've had the Lasermax on my XD9sc for two years now and I love it. I would most likely get night sights first as they are more practical and useful (my gun came with them).
Then I would get the Lasermax. It is more fun and God help the fool you actually light up with it if that ever happens. Ken

Id go with the night sights
Lasers are a bit overpriced for what they are. Check out some interesting sights. xs sights (i just sent mine in to springfield to have them put on) and suresights. |
