HI all new member and had some ?s
i have the service model .40 and love it first gun and have prolly shot close to 300 rds already...i have the 12 rd clips and tritium night sights and really think its a great gun...i have shot my buddies ruger 9mm and even tho it doesnt have the recoil my XD has i just like the look and feel of the xd the best...i actually went into the store to purchase a taurus .40 or clock .40 the springfield def felt the best and the all the accessories it came with i couldnt pass it up...my question is what Modifications are you guys doing to these guns if any? i know spring builds some of the best guns out there and the main reason i went with them over taurus. guide rails? springs? trigger mods? just want your guys feedback on what you've done to make the gun more enjoyable for you?> BTW i still havnt found a holster that i really like and wanna spend the money on...most ideal would be one that would allow me to wear on my hip as well as behind my back...any thoughts>? thanks guys

I recently installed the powder river precision safety lever + overtravel stop. It's great.

Welcome from NC! As far as a holster goes, how much are you willing to spend and how long are you willing to wait?

Order direct from Powder River Precision. I believe both cost me just under $50 shipped.

yea sorry we aren't all as gramatically correct as you are.
but back to the topic. both my guns are stock, but here are some sweet holster sights: K&D Holsters | Custom Gun Leather and Shooting Accessories Product Line there are a lot of good ones out there and a lot of bad ones. good luck on finding the one that is right for you. good thing about high noon holsters is they let you try it for 30 days and if you dont like it you can send it back or trade it for a different holster. good luck
