sw 4006 magazine in xd 40 tach
will my old smith and wesson 4006 magazine work in an xd 40 tactical or should i try to trade it with someone i get my gun on aug 3,2005. just currious.

The mag release cut on the XD mags is on the front of the mag, not on the sides. The S&W 59 series mags will work, but have to be modified by cutting in a hole for the mag release.
