Yea, range report soon please!
When did this happen?? I've been waiting for these, and now they just appear. Guess I need to check PG's site more often. Guess I'll be making an order this weekend. D'oh! made the order now... couldn't wait.

I have the EFK 9mm conversion barrel in my XD-40. It's VERY accurate, shooting smaller groups than I can with the 40 S&W barrel.
For me, 40 S&W mags are NOT reliable with the 9mm, but the 9mm mags fit perfectly. The only problem is, some 9mm rounds (S&B) stovepipe or get caught between the loaded chamber indicator and the back of the barrel EVERY time. American Eagle stovepipes about 1/4 of the time. Federal Premium and Gold Dots seem to eject reliably (with 9mm mags), but don't push the slide back far enough to lock open after the last round is fired (neither does the American Eagle). It's not the mag, as it does lock open when the slide is pulled back by hand. I don't think these problems are caused by the conversion barrel. Too much spring? Ejector? Extractor? I don't know, but I have a gunsmith friend who'll get to the bottom of it when I get a chance to get the gun to him.

That is what I was thinking. I wondered if the 9mm round would push the spring. Thanks for the input.

I run the 22 lb spring with the DGR and it functions perfectly and yes I find tighter groups with the EFK conv. barrel than my stock 40 barrel
