XD gear paddle holster
anyone try it out yet? It looks betterthan the original that came with my sc40. How close to the body does a paddle holster hold the gun?

it works. Thats about it. I like the Serpa MUCH better. Id even go with a fobus over that one. But, it doest draw nicely and it seems to stay in place pretty well.

i also like the holster, only complaint is that it really doesnt keep the firearm tight against your body........

The holster is...well...decent. It holds the gun on your belt...thats about it. It's decent tight against the body...and it dosent really flop around much. However it seems to hold it a bit low so you'll need longer shirts to cover it up. My shirts dont cover it up...theres about 2 inches of the gun showing.

I got the paddle holster free with my purchase...it's certainly a step up from the including piece of plastic that happens to resemble a holster...
It's comfortable, holds the gun well...seems to print a lot when wearing a t-shirt. I tried it out with some gym shorts and it worked alright. It's better then the stock one, and it's certainly better then nothing. There are better options, however. |

I have the XD adjustable paddle, a Fobus non-adjustable paddle, a Fobus Roto and a SERPA. I wear the SERPA most every day. If I had to rank them I would go in the inverse order I mentioned them.
