Holster for XD45 with tlr-1
I was wondering what holsters were available that would fit a xd45 with a tlr-1. I am looking for a belt holster to carry the gun on night hog hunts. plastic or leather, doesn't matter.

Safariland has a couple of duty type holsters for the XD with TLR-1 for about $67 in the hard plastic outer. The nice part is you then can buy different adapters for the same holster (belt, drop leg, ect). There maybe something a little less heavy duty out there but I haven't seen it yet.

Safariland is your best bet for Kydex opposed to nylon. When I run my "tacticool" setup, I'll dawn the 6005 (for XD45 Compact w/ TLR2). After using the SERPA thigh rig, and then switching to 6004/6005 series, I prefer the Safariland for a thigh rig setup.
When I ordered the 6005, specifically for my XD, it took a good 3 months, though I went through a local dealer of Safariland products. Here is a link to their compatibility charts: SAFARILAND® [Will Fit Charts] : Holsters, Belts, Duty Gear, & Accessories for Law Enforcement, Military, Competition, and Sporting Enthusiasts Or contact them directly, customer service is great: 1-800-347-1200 |
