Thumbs up Getting Truglo Tfo sight's

After reading the responses to my post I made last week, I am going to get Truglo TFO sights put on my XD45 Tactical instead of going with a Lasermax laser sight. I am confident in my 45 and myself, that I feel like I don't need a laser. I am going to use the extra money that I would have spent on the laser to buy more ammo with so that I can shoot more. I heard good and bad,pro and con and after a few days of thought, this is my decision. Thank's again to everyone who responded for your input.

Hey dreydin glad to see you decided to send your slide off to Tripps, they just got mine and i should see it in about 4 weeks. I am excited to see how she looks with my polished barrel and guide rod. I just had TRU-GLOS put on my XD 45 Compact and they are awesome baby.

I'm betting you'll like those TFOs.

Sights

I just had a set put on my 45 last week. After 200 rounds they are great. A little getting used to because they aim a little lower but they are good on my eyes. Precision shooting was a little better with the old sights but these seem to be quicker to get on target at close range which is fine with me. We have had a few people have problems with tubes falling out but they all appear to be older sets that have been on for awhile. Newer ones are supposed to be better. We will see, but so far so good.

my TFOs

I purchased my XD 40 Service and had the TFOs installed that day. I have gone out to the range and shot a couple hundred rounds through it already and night time, low light, day light the TFOs are great at aquiring a good site on the target. Two Thumbs up.

I purchased 2 sets of TFO's last week from a local guy for $60 for the pair. Just finished installing them both over the weekend myself. Not a terrible job but the factory sights were certainly stubborn and needed some firm convincing to remove!
