Tritium sights ... any preference?
I'm ready to put some tritium sights on my XD40 but since there are a few choices in manufacturer I'm not sure which brand to go with.
Trijicon Ameriglo Hiviz Meprolight Truglow These are the various brands I've found so far (if there is a preferred brand other than these let me know). Is there a difference in quality or is it just user preference? Please give me your opinions!

They all seem to be warranted for 12years. I choose Mepros based on cost/quality.

Truglo TFO... awesome sights in all light.. i have them in my P226 and when my xd tactical gets here she will sport them as well.. and it just so happens gilberts guns has them on sale for like 80 bucks.. a lot cheaper than when i first bought TFO's.
BTW someone correct me if im wrong, but doesnt sig and xd use the same sights.. so any sights for a sig could be used on an XD |

I've had Meps on my XD-40 Service for the last 3 years or so, they've preformed as I've expected. I think I paid $80 w/installation from a local shop.

My experence is with Trijicon, and I have been well satisfied. They are being installed on my new G-21 SF.

There is also MMC sights (I.E. PT night sights) which I just installed on my XD. I have to say I'm throughly disappointed in the front sight. The rear blue dots are great and glow well but the front blade is so dim that it's hard to see.
I've e-mailed them about the problem and still haven't gotten an answer yet to see if they are going to replace it for me. I'm currently trying to find a Trjicon front blade to put on there to get the glow back.
