Any messenger bags made for concealed carry?
I'm looking to find a good bag that works well for concealed carry on those hot summer days here in East TX. I bring my laptop with me a lot when traveling so would prefer a messenger style bag. Does anyone know of any companies that make bags specifically for this reason, or have just found bags that will work well for this?
Thanks!

There is always the possability to get a bag you like or currently have and adapt it by putting a seperate holster and or pocket in yourself (or get someone who is handy with stitch work to do it).

Yeah, I really like what Crossbreed has done with their CCSB. It looks like it's pretty well made but it's expensive! I may just try and find a good messenger bag, order one of Crossbreeds Ohai holsters and stich some velcro in the bag myself so I'll always know where my gun is in case I need to get to it in a hurry.
And I've checked bagmasters and haven't really found much that would suite my needs.

The problems with a messenger bag, are the same as for a woman carrying a gun in a purse.
The whole point of a bag (with a strap) is you take it off when you get where you're going. Of course the idea is you keep it in your control, but if you analyze how you really act, it's unlikely. For instance at a meeting, you set it on the floor next you your chair. The person next to you or behind you now has access to it, since your point in being at the meeting is to either present, or pay attention to the person presenting. Looking at your list of guns, you could conceal the XD40sc with the right holster under nothing more than a polo shirt. That way you're in control of your gun, and it stays where you left it. I'm not worried about needing to conceal in a meeting! And if you are you must be doing internation gun sales or something... I've ordered a K&D Dakota for my 40 sub, but won't get it until July sometime. And the reason for a messenger bag is to not have to wear my gun on me on hot days. For example if I've been traveling and am walking downtown in Chicago (or wherever) wearing shorts and a t-shirt, I'd rather have the gun in my bag where it's more concealed. especially since Chocago is the windy city

I don't know what Chicago's law is. That was just an example and I don't plan to go there anyways. And are you talking about conceal carrying downtown, or what is it your referring to?
