Concealed Holster IWB???
I have been trying to figure out which style concealed holster would be best for me.
I have a XD-45 compact. I have tried the 2 o'clock carry. It’s just not comfortable. I did look at some Galco and Bianchi clip on style holster carried on the right hand side at about 4-5 o'clock. This seems to be the most comfortable. It’s also close to how I carry a hip holster. Perhaps the most universal was the 'Uncle Mikes' holster that I borrowed from a buddy to try. It fit both the Glock and XD-45. Thoughts? |

I got both the Comptac and the Bladetech IWB holsters. Both work great. The difference would be the belt clip and the Bladetech has a cant to it.
Only downside is that if you have the new XD with the manual safety the holster they make is for without. I have noticed many times that my safety tends to disengage while wearing it. If you try to flip up the safety in the holster it wont lock all the way into position. Might be something for Comptac and Bladetech to think about. |

can't wait for my supertuck from socuban
I think it will work out well for me. I like having the tuck option but I probably won't use it often.

I have a Dakota Defender from K&D Holsters for my 45 Compact. Great quality holster, and very comfortable! The only problem is a four month lead time. Well worth the wait in my opinion!

You'll get a bunch of different answers on this. You have to find what works best for you.
I tried several before I found the one that felt the best. What works for one person, doesn't work for the next. I carry at 3 oclock. For me the comptac infidel does the trick.
