I'm looking at Kydex holsters for accuracy/speed training courses. So far I like the Blackhawk Serpa holsters. Not sure about the level 2 retention. Here's one with and one without. Any other good injection molded holsters for this?

If you want good concealment and be able to get to your gun in a real fight this is the only holster that will work from all the holsters i've carried.
Dale Fricke Holsters OneSource Price Qty $89.99 Product Options Choose One Choose One 1911 Gov/Commander Glock 9mm/40/357 Sig 29/30 (Not for Glock 30 with light rail) Glock 20/21 (DOES NOT FIT 21SF) Glock 36 J-Frame K-Frame N-Frame Colt Detective Special S&W MP Springfield XD 9mm Springfield XD 40 Springfield XD 45 Berretta Storm 9mm HG H & K P2000 Sig P226 (With Light Rail) Right or Left Handed?? Right Handed Left Handed Detailed Description EHUD APPENDIX CARRY HOLSTER Ehud was an Old Testament special operator that worked in a truly non-permissive environment. He was able to get his weapon past very high level scrutiny to carry out his mission. If he were alive today and carrying a modern pistol, he'd have it holstered in this rig. This is an Inside the Waistband Appendix Holster. It makes concealed carry very easy and yet is the fastest holster we have ever worked with. NOTE ON HOLSTER LENGTH - The holsters all come in one standard length for a given pistol model. So for example, a holster made for a Glock 17 will fit a Glock 19, and a Glock 26 as well. If you order a Glock 26 holster, you will get the standard holster that fits all 9mm/40 cal Glocks, and not a short Glock 26 specific holster. We do not make short length holsters for short barreled Glock pistols. We have found that appendix carry requires a longer holster body for stability in the belt. Here is were you can order the holster. I carry my 4" 9mm in one and at times my 4" 45acp No trouble with either to carry.

That actually looks like a pretty good IWB holster. I might consider getting that for daily carry. But right now I'm looking at getting an OWB holster. Any opinions on them?
Thanks

I'm quite happy with my level 2, the extra retention is nice since I OC fairly often. The release button at least for me lines up perfectly with where my finger goes when I handle a handgun anyways.

I was thinking with proper finger disipline(safety) the level 2 would be an even smoother draw than the level 1 with an automatic detent. I don't think the level 2 would interfere with speed drills.

I have the Blackhawk cqc level one and use it for USPSA. I bought the optional offset spacer kit and it works great.

I took some classes with one of the top instructors in handgun fighting. He told the store when he use to use the Blackhawk level2 holster. He said he used the holster for doing thousands of draws. Then he said one day he used it doing FoF. That is as close to knowing what will happen in a real gunfight as you can get. He said when he was getting shot at he couldn't get the holster to release the gun. Needless to say he said that was the last time he used that holster.

I've OCed often in a CQC holster with auto-lock. Works great. I have one for EVERY handgun I have short of the Govt. Model 380 and the old S&W 1917 revolver. I shoot USPSA with these holsters also. Never had a draw mucked by the button becuase that's where my finger is anyway.
