Class 3 Malfunctions with EFK Fire Dragon Barrel

Hi everyone, I am new to XD talk and am learning a lot about XDs - I am a definite convert from the Glock camp. Recently I bought a used XD .40 cal tactical model (5 inch) with an EFK 9mm conversion barrel in it. It works smoothly, but it has has a couple of class 3 malfunctions. Just wondering if this is typical of these conversion barrels and if there are any easy fixes (maybe the chamber is too tight, etc). I definitely think it has something to do with the conversion, because the only other XD I have owned (.45 service) has been absolutely reliable.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Chris

Maybe it goes into "full-auto" from time to time?

That would be crazy, but it's all I can think of.

Glock/NYPD terminology (I think). He's having a FTE.

True, cause that only happens with class 3 firearms. Makes sense to me.
