50 action express question
Who knows what all pistols are made in 50AE? What about lever action rifles? Got an itch for something to play with. Maybe mod it out to 440 Corbon or maybe just blow stuff up with it??????

There have been several other pistol in 50AE. The AMT Automag, LAR Grizzly, Freedom Arms revos, and the Mag research BFR. I have also seen Ruger Super Redhawks built by Hamilton Bowen of Bowen Classic Arms as well as at least one Custom Ruger Deerstalker in 50AE.

why not go with the 500 s&w
325 gr at 2002fps for the 500 s&w 325gr at 1437 and the 500 is rimmed so a lever action is alot more likely and reliable but if 500 s&w is too big get the 454 casull or some of the .46+ big bore revolver cartridges but i would stick with a rimmed cartridge for a lever action |

Ah, the Knight is right yet again. I am looking for an auto loader. The lever gun idea was a fleeting thought. I have a 450 marlin lever gun (well, had) and it did fine for 200 yards but that was about it. I knew about the AMT Automag V but finding one of those things in excellent shape, for under $1300, is a pain. Besides, parts for them are harder to find than the guns themselves. Hadn't thought about a Ruger Super Redhawk,,,,, Very interesting. Thanks for the input

Are you stuck on .50AE?
Have you looked into .50GI?
