I'm curious to hear opinions from people who have experience with both as well.

I have a C-TAC that I carry my Glock 27 in. I love it! It's fast, light, and comfortable. I can wear it driving or around the house laying on the couch with only minor readjustments. It takes a little while to find the right position for it, when I was first wearing it I was convinced I wanted it at 2:30, Randy at Comp-Tac convinced me to try 4:30 to 5:00 and it melts into my body. That's where I carry it now.

That being said, I ordered an MTAC after hearing all the rave reviews and knowing how much I enjoy my CTAC. I needed a holster for my XD45C anyway so I ordered an MTAC with interchangeable bodies for both my 27 and XD45C. It is supposed to arrive tomorrow and I can post again for y'all with my initial impressions. I'm hoping the MTAC will work well for hunting season as well whether I'm hidden in a Mesquite tree or walking my @$$ off quail hunting. The only thing I'm worried about is that the MTAC appears to be bulkier than my CTAC.

The CTAC put them on the map.

I have a spartan. Got the new clips and like it. I carry at 3 so it pokes a little when I sit. Got an infidel. Love it. Thats the one for me. Got it with the gurka clip. This sucker is solid. I wanted a holster with an attachment on the holster itself and one behind. Not with an attachment point in front of the holster. I bet they could find a way to make an infidel style mount with the leather backing of the MTAC and spartan.

I've hear the Minotaur MTAC and Spartan are more comfortable with the leather backing compared to the kydex against the body.

CTAC and MTAC

I have the CTAC for my SC and love it. I just ordered the MTAC yesterday.Just because there are alot of people giving it good reviews. All of my holsters come from Comp-tac and they are all excellent and you try one and done like it you can always send it back,But you won't there stuff is awesome. They great people to deal with.

It just seems as though the MTAC would be much more comfortable since there's leather against your body (two layers in some spots), rather than rivets and plastic. Interesting opinions...

MTAC didn't come in today like I'd hoped. Guess I'll have to wait until Monday to give my opinion.

I really don't know if the kydex is that uncomfortable in the CTAC. If you wear underwear (personal issue) there really isn't that much kydex that even touches the skin and I've never felt a rivet on the CTAC. The only benefit I can see to the MTAC is that the leather will curve a little bit more to your body especially if you carry it at a curve i.e. hip bone.

Hopefully it'll be here Monday and I'll be able to give you a detailed opinion.
