New Style Holster Clip @ K&D Holsters

We have available a new style clip at K&D Holsters. We are utilizing existing kydex clips and attaching denim. We will offer a dark (newer) denim and a faded denim look. Pictured below is the newer denim look:

These clips are available on our Cochise and Dakota Defender holsters. They are the Standard Clip model, and are only available in this format. There is an additional charge of $7.50 to put them onto a current order. In addition, you can order them separately for a cost of $20.00. They will be available beginning April 15th.

Thanks for your interest, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Can you get Kydex in "clear". It seems to me clear would be the stealthest belt clip material. In an under the belt "J" hook.

Actually, Reeek, it was your recent pictures of wearing our holster that inspired the idea.

The denim on the newer, thinner, kydex clips creates more of an unobtrusive appearance. I don't believe you would garner the same advantage applying our idea to the wider versions of clips offered. I utilize kydex clips from Comp-Tac, and they're onboard with the idea. There's certainly no infringement issues with respect to what we're doing.

We, and Comp-Tac, have been looking for years for a clear material that will both maintain the "clear" effect and be durable. So far our search has not yielded anything - at least something that would be cost effective. In addition, the clear style of kydex turns milky after a while and it's durability is far less than the other forms of kydex.

I am hoping someday we will see an integrated gunbelt/holster combo. Ideally something that completely hides the clips, not necessarily the velcro option but what if someone made a clip that popped or screwed onto a belt through a concho or something? Not that I wear belts with conchos but there would be a pretty good way to hide the clips, some quick snap on or screw on backing thread and a kydex clip with a mini sleeve. Whamo, holster invisible, no being made because a couple little clips are showing.

Hey Kevin....

Nice idea! I was joking with my wife the other day that the best and stealthiest holster would be one which was a quality leather rig with actual denim laminated to over the top.....if I ever have a moment I might still have to try that just as a joke if nothing else....of course you would still have to match the jeans (dk blue, stonewashed, sanded, etc!).

Take care....again, nice idea!

When I first saw this yesterday I didn't think that much about it, but after thinking on it a bit, it could potentially be huge.

Great idea.

If I was going to tuck I'd most likely be wearing Kahki's.
