XD-45 Holsters
Does anyone want to start a sticky for XD 45 holsters? What holster companies are making them? With links to specific models.

I don't know about a sticky but I have a Blade-Tech UCH for concealed carry and a Safariland 6004 Thigh Holster for my XD45 Tactical. Crossbreed also makes some great holsters for the XD45.
There are more holsters that are available for the XD45. However, they are more common in the 4" Service model than they are in the 5" Tactical model. That's my .02

And any holster for an XD will work for the XD-45 so long as it is for the appropriate barrel length. All of my holsters were listed for a 9/40XD and they all fit my XD-45 fine.

unless you are LEO with a departmental mandate for a thumbsnap you will not need one with my rigs. If you are LEO, I will be creating a model with an alternative thumbsnap by the end of the summer. Let me know if I can be of assistance to anyone.

dunno who has and has not seen these, but the XD gear paddle holster isn't bad for range use if you get one on the cheap/free like i did. I called springfield about getting a lefty holster and its what they sent me. Its not much good for carry though because its open bottom and the end of the barrel/slide sticks down kinda far.

If you click on XD Talk Sponsors you will see those that help this forum. I personally have two Tucker Gunleather XD45 holsters. The Answer and the Silent Thunder. The "Answer" distributes the weight a little better but the "Silent Thunder" is a little more concealable. The "Silent Thunder is leather lines Kydex and has two adjustment screws for retention to tailor it to your likes. Both are exceptional quality, have excellant retention and are "tuckable". I am extremely satisfied with both and I carry all day every day. They are as the expression goes.. "comforting", as you are going to know you are carrying when you have a .45 on your person.
