question about IWB

i've never carried IWB, only beltslide, but i am looking at ordering a crossbreed IWB. i was just wondering if an extra 2" waistband size would be enough. say going from a 32" to a 34"?

Sure is. That's exactly what I do. Just don't put on weight...

I would say definitly. And also, this may not even be neccesary depending on if your current pants are a little loose.

For instance, The paints that I usually wear are the same paints that I carry with. They don't fit extremely tight and so I can CC in them. You shouldn't need much room, especially with a crossbreed...

I added +2 on each of my carry pants. BTW, hummingbirds have high metabolism I presume?

Be thankful. I am in shape, but I have to be relatively strict on diet to maintain. If I eat a piece of pizza after 6PM I gain 17.6 lbs. LOL.

Anywho, great post, as I had the same question. I am a 36 in. waist and was at the store today looking at jeans to see how much room I was going to need when UPS finally brings my holster. Looks like +2 is the answer.

+2 is about right for me. I carry the 40sc IWB and I have to move two notches on the belt. I recently went on a diet (lost over 25 lbs) and I was fortunate not to have to buy more pants.

+2 is good.

I also ditched my 1.25" belts for some 1.75" ones. Much cheaper than buying a real gun belt.

Ditto on the +2. Also add 2" to your new belt.
