Trigger parts for uspsa

Anyone know if it is OK to use replacement sears @ Xtech in the production class in uspsa. I see in the rules guide rods are OK, also what about extended mag releases?????

For Production class you can do trigger work. There used to be a 5 lb trigger rule, but that is no more.

The extended mag release won't fly though. External mods or ones that add weight are not allowed in production. You can change sights and do trigger work and some other mild internal mods in Production, but it's pretty limited to that.

Remember, it is PRODUCTION class.

Here's a link for ya. The 2008 Rules. Chapter 5 and App D should give you most of the answers.

Extended mag releases are only allowed if the gun can come that way from the factory. Take for example the Glocks.....several of the models have extended slide / mag releases and they can be ordered that way on any of them, so they are allowed.

But, most the of the aftermarket / non-factory ones are prohibited in Production.

Really, other than the sights, finish / paint, and grip stippling, you can't do much else on the outside for that class.
