Conversion Barrel from a tactical fit in a service?
Subject pretty much says it all, but would a 9mm conversion barrel for a 40 S&W from a tactical-5” fit in a Service-4” 40 S&W? Anyone happen to know, I see that Oldschool has 5” conversion barrels for the services just wondering if this is what it is or?

It will look similar to this. This is a stock 9mm barrel from my Tactical, installed on my Service model. I think you will get an idea of how it will look.

Not to hijack the thread, but I have a similar question. If I go with a ported XD40, is there a .40 barrel available that will fit in the ported frame? I'd think that the ports are the only difference and that I can use a solid barrel in a ported slide, but wanted to check. If this IS possible, what do I buy, a .357 to .40, in either service or tactical?
