I've never used one but it seems like an interesting product. I popped over to Brian Enos' forum and found the the following:

Didn't see anything XD specific but there are a lot of opinions on the product. If you do a search there are many more results.

I have one on my Beretta 96 and it was a noticeable improvement over stock.
