Any reputable gunsmith should be able to do it for you. I took mine to Gander Mountain ($20).

I've heard springerprecision does awesome work, and the turnaround time is very quick.

Not every gunsmith has the same skills, especially when it comes to XD sight removal and installation (notably more difficult than average). I would never have my local gunsmith install tritium fiber optics as you have to take special care not to break the fiber optic (which is easy to do if you don't know what you're doing or you haven't done that many). I've sent my slide/TFO sights to James(a forum sponsor) at Springfield Armory XD and HS-2000.com (he's near B'ham AL). He's done 3 TFO installs on 3 different XD45s, he does great work and only charges $20, which includes returns shipping. Drop him an email.

Considering it doesn't cost much to ship just the slide, I'd recommend sending it off to be done (just be sure to insure it for the cost of the entire pistol/sights in case something happens to it). I've heard a number of stories where people had them done locally and it didn't turn out too well. Pay a few extra dollars for shipping and have it done right. It'll definitely save you some aggravation.
