I just got mine in this morning and I have to say, what a difference. I would have to say for 28 bucks this little part is one heck of a good deal. Much more cost effective than spending 100 bucks on a new sear and trigger bar. Very highlt recommended IMO.

Did you add the over travel screw? If not you still haven't gotten the full effect.

I got mine in the mail this afternoon and, 10 minutes later, it was installed in my XD-45 Tactical. That is THE best (and one of the cheapest) mods you could ever do to an XD. Now to drill the trigger-bar!

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, the Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.

I got mine today also, I didn't drill the trigger bar I pre-drilled the frame at a shallow angle with my cordless drill then with the larger drill bit by hand with a drill chuck attachment for my dremel and cranked it by hand for more control then just slowly threaded the hole with the grub screw using an xcelite hex socket screw blade. I can't even express how happy I am with this thing I'm stoked and ready to go to the range!

Can anyone tell me what size tap I need to do the trigger bar? I'm not much on drilling my frame.

4-40 tap and #43 drill bit. Contact Daniel and he can hook you up with the drill and Tap, the trigger bar is extremely hard and if you dont use a really hi quality bit or a carbide bit, you could worble out the hole and then lack enough material for good threads.

Sounds like I'll be doing this on my brother's drill press.

Thank you for the feedback,
Daniel
You really are customer oriented. It would be worth the extra $1.50 to not have to look for it. I had the bit just not the wrench. Thanks again for the great product and great customer support/feedback.

LOVE MY KIT!!!!
