Pistol Lights Question - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Hi Everyone,
My brother and I have been looking into getting a pistol light. Since he has the tactical and I have the sub compact we were looking at different lights. My brother wants to get the Streamlight tr-1 and I was looking into the Insight Technologies X2 and a crimson trace grip to go with it. I was wondering if anyone here who went to shot show saw any lights coming out this year that will be worth the wait. In particular was there any for the sub compact since there light are hard to come by. Thank you everyone for your help!

the Sprinfield XML light and the Insight X2 are one in the same, but you can get the XML for $20-30 buck less than the X2. That's the X2 w/o the laser. You really can't go wrong w/any Insight light. The best deals to be had are on eBay!

I had a M6 on my .45 tactical until I replaced it with a M6X. I like them both and bought both on Ebay for good prices. I'm planning on a X2L for my .40SC. You can't go wrong with Insight IMO.

I have Both lights you mentioned and love them both! The TLR-1 is obviously much brighter much whiter and more concentrated. Both look super cool although my 45 is service length. I do not have a crimson trace though rather a lasermax guide rod laser. Good luck!
