Just ordered me one of these bad boys. they seem really nice! i have used iwb carry my whole life and i'm looking for an alternative. i work in construction and every time i lift up my arms the xd 45 comes out to greet everybody! one question. had anybody had problems with perspiration and dampness affecting the guns finish or performance? i'm a 3 time a week shooter, so its always well cleaned and oiled, but its just one of those things you have to wonder about.

Is there any structure to the "holster"? It looks like just a big pocket. Does the gun hold it's position? What about a snub 38? Would that stay put?
I am a big guy and I know the problems associated with that, my main concern is how long is it? I can see from the pics that yu have it tucked in, but I would consider you pretty skinny compared to me.

As far as quick access with a button up shirt, you can do the following.
Cut the buttons off (where you want to be able to "break" the shirt open), and sew them over the holes so it looks like they are buttoned.
Buy a pack of snaps at walmart or whatever. Sew them in place of the buttons. They will still hold the shirt shut. It will look buttoned, and come undone by simply sliding your hand in, or ripping it open.

you might try local law enforcement/gun shops, I found one locally to try on and even got a great price.

ARMY, I dont think they have any other colors than white and black at the moment, maybe soon...

OR just buy a 5.11 Covert Casual shirt...already made that way. I have two, very well constructed and comfortable.

>dont think they have any other colors than white and black

He could always buy a white one and dye it.

I have only seen white and black, no tan.

They are compression fit which bugs me - don't like feeling like I am a straight jacket.

Probably waaay out of date but for those who are considering this shirt:

I heeded the reseller's advice (LA police gear or Cops Plus) and went with the "same size tee shirt you would wear." WRONG. It is waaay too tight and cannot be worn. Not to mention it is very scratchy even after a few washes. I would recommend going up TWO sizes over a loose tee shirt fit.

After thinking about it off and on for months, I have determined that I will cut the shirt straight up the middle, sew on wide velcro strips on each cut side and be able to wear the shirt that way and get it adjusted to a somewhat comfortable fit. I am also going to have to wear it OVER a tee shirt to be able to stand the sctratchyness of the seams.

All in all, the shirt needs a lot of work. The seams should only be on the outside. And the size recommendation should be add two shirt sizes to normal size.

I paid $45 for mine with shipping I believe so I am determined to get some use out of it.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't carry my XD9 with a round chambered as there is no trigger guard. I HAD intended to carry my Beretta Px4 Storm in it with safety on, round chambered.
