Yes, unfortunately. I just cant make it conceal like my K&D so Im sticking with that. Its plenty comfortable just creates a bulge in the waistband that I cant hide(spare tire + thick reinforced mouth + the leather belt loops). Part of the problem is my body shape and the fact that this holster rides pretty high.

Im just addicted to having more options, so I wanted to give it a try. I dont need another IWB holster but I always wonder if something out there will fit me better. So far Ive always ran back to what I already have.

Wore the holster for my M&P9c most of the day yesterday. Went to the range, dinner and then a movie. It was comfortable throughout. None of my friends noticed I had it on until I mentioned it. Some that didn't know I carry were even more surprised. I was wearing a fairly fitted shirt and the bulging was only minimal. I think if I wear a looser shirt it won't be a problem.

The only issue I had was the mouth of the holster hitting the mag release. only hapened once and was while I was in the movie.

Very nice holster for the money! Might pick up one of his mag holsters.

I just can't see this holster causing more of a noticeable "bulge" than any other IWB holster. I only say that because I own one. I also own a Crossbreed Supertuck and some others. It may be more of a perceived thing than a real thing. Most printing concerns are with the grip of the gun, not the holster.

It FEELS a little different, as it doesn't take up as much real estate along the belt circumference as a K&D or Crossbreed, but that doesn't mean it actually bulges more. I can see where the leather loops would stick out a bit more than the clips on a CB or K&D would, since they are spread out farther.
I don't find that to be the tell-tale signs of printing that would bother me though. If my shirt was tight enough to notice those leather loops, it's tight enough for the guns grip to print easily if I move just a little bit.

I'm a husky guy too- 5'-11 and 250lbs. I don't have any printing issues at all with this holster.
To each their own though, of course. If another holster fits you better, then go with that.
I just didn't want some to get the wrong idea about this holster (for them) based on your experience.
It might be the perfect holster for them.

I bought one for a buddy of mine and he prefers his supertuck to it.
He didn't really give the new holster much of a chance though. Kind of strapped it on and took it off...
I find this holster more comfortable than my supertuck, although the ST is one of my favorite all-time holsters.

I carry with a tucked in t-shirt or polo, etc and a looser outer shirt or vest untucked for concealment.
Carrying a full sized gun with just a t-shirt doesn't work for me. Even an XD SC is a bit too bulky for me to carry that way.
Carrying a Kahr or other small pistol works IWB with that method, but my frame doesn't hide anything bigger than that, unless the shirt has an elastic band around the bottom so it can blouse out more.

I actually took some comparison pics next to the K&D but opted not to post them, because Im not trying to talk anyone out of business. Its just not my preference and is considerably thicker.

I agree with you about the printing, and I mentioned in this thread I had no printing of the actual gun with this holster. It was just the bulge on the belt line. I could literally look down through a large gap on either side of the holster, in between my belt and body. Since I have seen many reviews on this holster (some with pics) that didnt mention this problem, it clearly has a lot to do with my body shape.

I tend to carry around the 2-3 oclock area, so there is no "settling" into my body. It sits right off of my hip bone. Sorry for the long post, and I didnt meant to sway anyone if my opinion came off wrong. This holster has worked great for many, and is definitely worth a shot. As said, the quality and craftsmanship is great for the money (wait time is impressive too).

Ahhh! That makes a lot more sense now.

I just assumed you were carrying around the 3:30 to 4:00 position that is so popular. I think that particular holster is much more comfortable there.
Definitely where I carry mine...

Received my holster yesterday. It sure is pretty and a nice piece of craftsmanship! On first couple "wears" I find the SuperTuck more low profile/comfortable. I feel like my pants need to be an inch or two bigger when I wear the ROG IWB. I think it's because I have the SuperTuck sitting further down inside the waist band. I also feel like the cant is a little off my usual. I'm not writing it off & will definitely give it some more chances.

On another note, I have the Crimson Trace grips on my XD9sc so it fits a little tight. I realize it's not intended (or advertised) to fit these, but my SuperTuck and the Serpa fit it with no problem so that's another negative for me. It's starting to loosen up (watched TV sliding it in & out) and I might try to modify it for it to fit better.

I'll keep you updated with my exploits...

I just received mine and my first impressions are top notch. I hope to add my own little twist to the previous reviews sometime after Thanksgiving. As for now:

fit and finish are A++
price is A+
wait time A (who doesn't want stuff instantly?)
customer service A+
shipping/packaging A

Just a quick bump to the top for a great holster from a great manufacturer!

Sorry about the photos all being gone - I moved around my photos on Photobucket and failed to take into consideration all of my review photos being there!

I'll see about copying the photos back to the right place so that they show back up in the review as well.

{EDIT} YAY - Photos are back!

Has anyone bought one of these holsters for a 1911? If so, did you find that the lack of a body shield allowed the beavertail to be bothersome?
