Best laser

I have been looking into a laser for my XD 40 and I really like the green laser idea. Are there other options than the Viridian and Lasermax? Both are kind of picey and the Viridian seems a bit bigger than I wanted. Any input as to easier to sight in or which one is better would be great. Also, anyone out there that has a red and green laser and has some input?

Thanks

I have the Lasermax guide rod in my XD9SC. It's red, I'm not sure they offer it in green yet.

I like the internal laser because it doesn't interfere with or require a different holster.

I think I payed close to $400 for it.

I was looking at one of those for my 40. Is it easy to install? How do you align it so that it is accurate?? And is it accurate??

I am leaning towards the crimson trace. It is between that and a lasermax unimax. I really like the idea of the green laser, but it is hard to justify over twice the money for it. Anyone else have the crimson trace and want to chime in?

I have looked at the Crimson trace laser's, but wonder about the realiability as far as bumping it out of alignment. I would really like to know someone who has them so I could check em out.

I was wondering about the green internal laser too, so I emailed Lasermax and here is the responce...

"Thank you for your interest in our products. We do not have any plans to
release a green guide rod laser any time in the near future. The reason for that is that the green lasers take a lot more power to run them and we are
very limited in space inside the guide rod for batteries to give enough run
time. The only option at this time is our rail mounted if you want the
green laser but your weapon would need to have the rail on it.
For more information on that laser please see our web page:
http://www.lasermax.com/category.php?id=106 "

If you can I would like to see some real life pic's of it installed. Instead of just the draw-up picture they have on there site.
