Hey Guys I've got a question. Does anyone know if Springfield makes a holster for us lefties? I'm having trouble finding anything that will work. I've spent a little time on the internet and I'm not having much luck.
TIA
Dan

Springfield swapped out the SA GEar holster that came with my kit for a lefty paddle thats adequite for range work.

What are your needs for the holster? That will determine what recommendations. There are a lot of lefty holsters out the for the XD.

I have my XD45 tucked into a Desantis mini-slide, tan. left handed. I love it! They sent it pretty quickly too.

I usually wear it under a vest or sportcoat (Duluth Trading Presentation Jacket) at 10:00. I can slide it to 9:00 if needed. Never liked 8:00 carry.

Packing Heat Leather has probably the biggest selection of leftie leather I've seen, if you like black. They do have some brown but ... http://store.packinheatleather.com/

If you call SA and tell them you are a lefty, they will send you a left handed paddle holster for free if your gun came with the kit.

Mine came with the kit, and i called them to ask for a lefty paddle holster, and they told me that mine was part of some promo, where the paddle was free, so they wouldn't replace it with a lefty.

Go with Blade-Tech. Then you'll have a holster that will actually be worth the money.
I have a lefty rig for a 4" XD service for sale.

Thanks!

We keep about 1000 left hand holsters in stock at all times. A lot of our left hand sales are directed to us by Galco and Bianchi because they say we have more left hand inventory than they do.

........and we stock as much XD inventory as we can.

This is great information guys. I tease how lefties get left out of the thought process when things are being manufactured. Anyway it's great to know this kind of information is available to everyone. Many thanks I will set aside a little time looking at the websites that you men posted! Again many thanks

Thumbs up

Excellent selection Knighthawk, and very good prices. I think I know where I'll be coming for my SP-101 in left-hand.
You should be a sponcor here, if you're not already.
