Undergear Holster Shirt?

Has anyone used one of these shirts? http://www.511tactical.com/index.asp...3&number=40011

I am looking for something I can use while riding and other misc use (xd9sc). I would like a nice shoulder rig, but at $150+ I am a bit hesitant since riding season is a few months out yet. If you have any experience with one of these, please let me know and any pictures would be great. Thanks!

I have one and use it mainly when riding the motorcycle. The fit is very tight, made of spandex, and can become very warm, but it does work good. I would not recommed it for your primary method of carrying, but when nothing else seems to fit, these shirts come in handy.

Usually have my riding jacket over it, so it just looks like a black t-shirt underneath. Don't have to worry about "showing". Carry an extra magazine in the off-site pocket.

Hope this helps.

Jim

I have a kramer under shirt and its ok if you want to carry with deep concealment but you wont be getting your gun out in a hurry.

Update/Review:
Shirt came in today. It fits just as expected (and described). I ordered a medium (same as my under armor shirts). It holds the gun very securely to the body. Jumping up and down, the gun only moved about a half inch in a sliding manner (held against my body the whole time). There is a neoprene padding between your ribs and both pockets. I cannot feel any part of the gun (xd9sc) digging in. Dual velcro at the edge of the pocket would no doubt keep the gun in place if I was upside down (hopefully that never gets tested). Here are a few pics I snapped real quick today:

Under a track jacket, one that I regularly wear:

With jacket off:

With a shirt that I wear to work:

I also tried a few tshirts on and most of my medium tshirts printed just a little. The darker ones were much harder to tell though. Large tshirts were perfect, no printing, and also a little easier access (due to more room to pull the shirt up and out of the way).

Hmm..I kinda dig this. Right now, Im having trouble finding pants that will allow me to IWB carry comfortably. That arent specifically designed for it...i.e. the 5.11 pants and what not.

It doesnt look like quick draws are going to be possible, but it would still allow me to start CC once my permit comes through.

How do you think it would work with a XD-9 service??? Would it still be comfy?

Im in the process of talking myself into a SC...probably a .45. But I wouldnt mind toting my service around some in the mean time.

The gun comes right out the front (in the pic you can see a slit on either side of the chest). The pocket sets the gun in a vertical position.

I spent a few minutes practicing drawing with my jacket and a tshirt on. In just the few minutes I spent, I was able to speed up quite a bit (just have to get used to going to a new postition). It definately wont be as quick as some methods of carry, but theres always a trade-off. I think it will be a very comfy way of carrying. The neoprene section between the guns and your ribs is very nice. The construction puts all the weight on your shoulders. I had planned on using this for riding use, but now, might use it regularly. In fact, I am probably going to order a black one as well.

I am not sure about an xd service. I have never handled one. I did put in an HK USP Compact .40 and it was about the max size you could carry in it. It was retained just as well as the xd9sc, even jumping up and down. Maybe someone knows the sizing difference between the XD9 Service and the HK USP Compact?

HK USP Compact is 6.8" long, 5.35" tall
XD-9 Service is 7" long, 5.5" tall.

Check out this under your shirt shoulder holster!

This holster can be worn under your shirt so the sholder straps do not show. But the holster is still there. Or it can be worn like any other shoulder rig. Hope this helps!

I checked that out. .... That thing is cool! Not sure what all parts are needed or if everything comes with the shoulder harness? Very cool idea though.
